(March 31, 2011) As part of TxDOT’s FM 423 widening project, all traffic on Lebanon Road will be switched to the north side of the road at FM 423 starting this Friday, April 1. East and westbound traffic will now share the northern half of the road while the southern half of the intersection is reconstructed. This will change the alignment of the through lanes of Lebanon Road as it crosses FM 423 so motorists in all directions at that intersection should pay attention to the new location of stop lines.
In addition, motorists on Lebanon Road who are approaching FM 423 should pay attention to the new configuration of traffic control devices that will shift traffic to and from the northern half of the roadway.
Motorists are urged to use caution in this area as people become accustomed to the new traffic patterns at the intersection.
