Welcome to the Communications & Media Relations Department

Cable Channel:  Government Access Channel
Watch the latest City Council meeting or find out what’s happening in Frisco by tuning into Frisco’s Government Access Channel on Grande Communications Cable Channel 12 or Time Warner Cable Channel 16.

City Newsletter - Focal Point:  Find the latest news about your city and read a monthly message from Mayor Maher Maso  in Focal Point, the official newsletter of the City of Frisco. Focal Point is a free publication, mailed monthly. It comes to your mailbox, as an insert in All About Frisco, which is published by the Frisco Enterprise. All Frisco residents should receive All About Frisco, regardless of whether you subscribe to the newspaper.

E-News Service - News & Information: If you don’t want to wait on the newspaper, check out your electronic “in box”. Sign up for the City of Frisco’s News & Information service. Subscribers receive e-mail notices about city news and bulletins immediately, delivered directly to your “Internet door”.

Frisco Freedom Fest:  Frisco’s July 4 celebration rivals any in North Texas! Frisco Freedom Fest features the Taste of Frisco, children’s games, local performers, famous headliners and spectacular fireworks, of course! Communications manages and coordinates this annual, one-day festival with lots of help from our colleagues in other city departments and citizen volunteers. Check out www.friscofreedomfest.org.

Volunteer Opportunities: If you’re looking for a way to get to know your community and your neighbors, acquire leadership abilities, gain new skills or you just want to help your community, then look no more. Become a City of Frisco volunteer!

Web site: We’re glad you are checking out  www.friscotexas.gov.  We manage Web site content, navigation and layout. If you have suggestions, please contact us at  dbaird@friscotexas.gov.   We work with our colleagues in Information Technology on issues relating to technology.
