Development Services is committed to creating a high quality, sustainable community for citizens and businesses. We do this by planning, creating, managing, and applying standards for development. The Department is comprised of the following:

Animal Control – Rabies control and animal related nuisance issues including stray pets, wildlife concerns, and animal welfare violations.

Building Inspections Division – Permits and code information for new building construction, sign permits, remodels, alterations, and fences.

Comprehensive & Environmental Division – Addresses environmental and long-range planning issues, including sustainability, demographics, and the comprehensive plan.
