 National Night Out

Frisco is returning to the nationally recognized August date for National Night Out 2010!  2010 NNOOn Tuesday, August 3, Frisco police and fire personnel will be out in force visiting neighborhoods, meeting with residents, and enjoying all of the festivites that are commonplace with the popular event.

Thank you to those who are participating in this year's National Night Out. Block party registration is now closed.

Please contact the department's Community Services Division at 972.292.6145 or email Services@FriscoTexas.gov if you have any questions regarding this year's National Night Out.

Safety Palooza 2010

The Frisco Police Department will be hosting its first ever Safety Palooza on Saturday, July 31, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., as the official kickoff party for this year's National Night Out.  We welcome everyone to come to the Frisco Police Department located at 7200 Stonebrook Parkway (across from Frisco High School) for this great event.

Frisco police and fire personnel will be on-hand to show off all of the public safety "tools of the trade," in addition to a CareFlite helicopter open for public display.  The Frisco Police Department's Motors Unit will be performing skills demonstrations with their Harley Davidsons, and a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms will show off his tactical canine's skills on mock bad guys.

In addition to all of the public service equipment and personnel during Safety Palooza, Frisco's own Snow Cone Lady will be on-hand with plenty of her chilled treats to help keep things cool.

Visit us for these few hours of fun and see firsthand why Frisco's public service professionals are regarded as some of the best in the area.

National Night Out 2009

The National Association of Town Watch ranked Frisco 21st in the nation for cities with a population of 100,000-299,000 for our work and overall success in National Night Out 2009.  Last year was the first year for us to compete in Category 2 due to our recent growth to approximately 107,000 residents at the time of National Night Out 2009.  We are very proud of our ranking against such strong competitors in this category!
