The FEDC Board oversees implementation of a coordinated development plan that is submitted to the City Council each year as a part of the FEDC Annual Budget. The Plan includes short-term and long-term goals for the economic development of the City, proposed methods for the elimination of unemployment and underemployment, and enhancement of the tax base through the expansion and development of a sound industrial, manufacturing and retail base within the city.
