FRISCO FREEDOM FEST

The 7th Annual Frisco Freedom Fest is back with a bang with the largest fireworks display in all of North Texas. Frisco Freedom Fest activities begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 4. All tickets purchased after June 26 will be left at the ‘Will Call’ North Box Office at Pizza Hut Park.  Tickets purchased prior to June 26 were mailed to you. 

* The $10 “Game, Concerts, Fireworks” online offer expires at 5 p.m., Thursday, July 3. 
* $5 ‘Concert Only’ tickets will only be sold at the North Box Office on July 4.

CITY OF FRISCO JULY 4th HOLIDAY HOURS 

In observance of Independence Day, the City of Frisco government offices will be closed on Friday, July 4. Regular hours resume Monday, July 7. Please see the list below for closings or special hours for other city facilities.

On July 4, Simpson Plaza in front of the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center will be open for Frisco Freedom Fest activities. The ‘Party in the Plaza’ begins at 4 p.m. and continues until the biggest fireworks display in North Texas ends. Go online to www.friscofreedomfest.org for event details and tickets to the MLS FC Dallas game and concerts at Pizza Hut Park: ‘Freddy’ and ‘The Temptations Review Featuring Dennis Edwards’.

MUNICIPAL COURT

The Court will reopen Monday, July 7 at 8:30 a.m.  Any payments or paperwork due on July 4 will be due and accepted as on time July 7. 

FRISCO ATHLETIC CENTER
July 4 – OPEN
Building hours: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Indoor Pool Hours: 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Outdoor Pool Hours: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Fun Club: Closed
Zone: Closed
July 5 & 6 – OPEN during normal hours

SENIOR CENTER AT FRISCO SQUARE
July 4 – CLOSED

TRASH COLLECTION – CURBSIDE RECYCLING
There will be no trash or recycling services provided on Friday, July 4.  Due to the holiday, trash and recycling services will be provided one day later on Saturday, July 5.

FC Dallas Foundation Tickets for Troops

(July 1, 2008) Military personnel are invited to attend the Biggest Fourth of July Celebration in the Metroplex for free this Friday, July 4 when FC Dallas takes on the Kansas City Wizards at Pizza Hut Park (6 p.m. CT).


Frisco Freedom Fest to Feature Biggest Fireworks Show in North Texas; Plus FC Dallas Game, Music by Freddy, The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards

(June 28, 2008) Just six days left until the “Biggest Fireworks Show in North Texas” will light up the skies over Frisco!  The best seats in town are at Frisco Freedom Fest, which takes place Friday, July 4 at Simpson Plaza in front of City Hall in the heart of Frisco Square, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd. -- and just across the street at Pizza Hut Park, 9200 World Cup Way.


City of Frisco Moves to Summer Outdoor Watering Hours

(June 6, 2008) Per the City of Frisco Water Conservation Plan, summer watering hours are effective daily, June 1 through September 30, and include these restrictions: No outdoor watering between the hours of 5 a.m. and 8 a.m., and between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
