May other school districts attend classes at Frisco Fire Safety Town?
Yes!  During the school year, daily safety education classes are dedicated to elementary school students. To schedule a school group visit, contact Frisco Fire Safety Town via one of the methods listed above.  We also offer programs during  the week of Spring Break and throughout the summer months in order to provide daycares, community groups and individuals across the area the opportunity to visit Frisco Fire Safety Town.  Information regarding those programs are posted on our website prior to each session.

For children unable to attend classes, we offer daily Safe & Sound Walk-Arounds at Frisco Fire Safety Town.  During the walk-around, children and adults have the opportunity to learn a variety of safety lessons while touring the indoor and outdoor areas of the facility.  Safe & Sound Walk-Arounds occur Monday through Friday.  During the school year we schedule these starting at 2:00 p.m. daily.  The visit last approximately 30 minutes.  Individuals or groups are welcome!  We encourage you to pre-schedule your walk around; this ensures that we do not have any conflicting programs at the same time.  Contact Frisco Fire Safety Town at 972.292.6350 to reserve a Safe & Sound Walk-Around date and time.

Is there anything for my preschooler to do at Frisco Fire Safety Town?
Preschoolers are invited to attend Safe & Sound Walk-Arounds of Frisco Fire Safety Town.  During the walk-around, which usually last approximately thirty minutes, children and adults have the opportunity to learn various safety lessons while touring the indoor and outdoor areas of the facility. The walk-around also features a kid-friendly fire engine that children love to explore!

My children want to come and drive a jeep and ride bicycles at FFST.  Can we stop by and do this?

I've seen some Frisco Fire Safety Town t-shirts that kids are wearing.  Where can I buy them?
Our Frisco Fire Safety Town General Store is open and located just inside of our educational building.  We sell t-shirts, pencils, fire extinguishers and other items for both adults and children.  New to the store are some of our most requested items - Frisco Fire Department t-shirts and outerwear!

Do you hold birthday parties at Frisco Fire Safety Town?
The Frisco Fire Department has a long-standing tradition of hosting children’s educational Birthday Parties at each of Frisco's Fire Stations for those residents (or grandparents) who live or work in Frisco.  During these parties, our firefighters use the opportunity to interact with children to dispel any fears children may have of firefighters in bunker gear while also teaching children about fire safety and how to be safe from fires in their homes.   Because we feel the direct interaction between our firefighters and children is invaluable, all birthday parties are held exclusively at the fire stations.

Once children reach school age, Frisco Fire Safety Town will become the next logical step in fire and life safety education as students visit Safety Town for scheduled safety programs.  Residents who would like to schedule a birthday party at one of our fire stations should contact Pam Nelson at 972.292.6313 during normal working hours.
